Dr. John C. Sarantopoulos, DO, FAAPMR is the medical director and founder of Advanced Physical Medicine Associates, SC. Dr Sarantopoulos is a board certified medical specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
His clinical interests include the conservative non-surgical management of neck pain, low back pain, myofascial pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, work-related injuries, auto accident injuries, and multiple other orthopedic conditions.
Dr. Sarantopoulos received his medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, OH. After medical school, he completed a one-year internship through the Chicago Osteopathic Hospitals and Medical Centers program.
After his internship, he completed a three-year medical residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through the prestigious University of Chicago, Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital Program.
